Please note that the dimensions of the poster cannot exceed 4 feet in length and 3 feet in width. Rejected due to obstructing neighbouring posters, oversize posters will not be considered. No audiovisual devices, including computer monitors, projectors, or standalone screens are allowed.
Each presenter will have a designated time and place to display their poster. Anything beyond a five-minute tardiness will result in the presenter losing the chance to share their findings.
The conference personnel will supply the stands and pushpins needed to mount the posters. You can also ask a member of staff for help finding your designated poster spot.
Make sure you erect all posters within the specified time before the session and keep them up until the session concludes. Presenters are expected to stay at their poster for the duration of the session in order to field questions and receive feedback from the poster judges. Please make sure you remove any posters and materials and clean up the area as soon as the session concludes.
Please report to the judges' conference room if you feel that you have not been assessed by a judge after the session concludes.
Criteria for Judging Poster Presentations
The Poster Presentation Evaluation Rubric Judging time for each poster presentation may be as short as 10 minutes due to the large quantity of entries.
This poster's evaluation will be based on these points:
The abstract's quality and relevancy.
Poster content and layout:
At the top of the poster, you should include the title, names of the authors, and the institution(s) where the research was conducted.
The proper sequence for a poster layout is as follows: text and images explaining the research's goals and significance; a hypothesis or statement of the problem; methods and controls; results; conclusions and future research; and finally, references and acknowledgments.
